For this you take the special cases. Then you keep the things that are the same. The numbers and/or symbols that change are replaced by variables.

Number Sentence- 1x(5x4)
- 1x(7x8)
- 1x(3x6)
Number Sentence With Variables-1x(AxB)

The numbers that change are the 5,4,7,8,3 and 6. So they are replaced by variables.
